My Favorite Lippies!

I want to first start off by saying I'm not a big lipgloss wearer so that's why I only have a couple of lip glosses.

*I don't want to be mistaken. I said I wasn't a fan of MAC foundation, but I love all their other products. Just a piece of info, so anyone won't be saying "she said she didn't like MAC".

1. NYX Round Lipstick- Orion: This is a lipstick that I love wearing when I don't care to wear color and just want something simple. This lipstick is the exact same color as my lip, so it's the perfect nude color for me. The average price $2.99.

2. MAC Lipglass- C-Thru: I love this it's a quick on the go color that goes with any makeup look. It's a creamy nude color lipgloss. The average price $14.50.

3. OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics) Lip Tar- Hoochie: This is a beautiful purple color, it's very noticeable, but at the same time not too shocking. Some people find that lip tars don't work for them, but it's all in the way it's applied. This is not a lip gloss, so you have to use a brush and apply it; not squeezing out the tube onto your lips or it will bleed. The average price $14.50.
*This product does not contain tar.

4. MAC Lipstick- Morange: If you don't know then you need to know that orange is THE color for people of darker ethnicities. This is an amplified color so it is bold, but it's very easy to pull off. The average price is $14.50.

5. NARS Lipstick- Honolulu Honey: This is my go to lipstick when i'm wearing a dark smokey eye. This color is a light beige, so if you're not comfortable wearing it alone add a brown lip liner. The average price is $24.

6. MAC Lipstick- Ruby Woo: I was never a fan of red lipstick, because i never found one to fit me. When I found out about this lipstick I fell in love. It's the perfect red for every skin tone, it's not too light , it's subtle. The average price $14.50.

7. Milani Haute Flash- Flashy: I love this lipgloss, because you get the same color payoff as a lipstick. It's a cute pink with lot's of glitter, so I like it as a night out lip color. The average price is $7.50.

8.NYX Round Lipstick- Pandora: This is my go to winter/ fall lipstick. It's a beautiful wine color it's kind of a frost and it has a nice color. The average price is $2.99.

9. MAC Lipstick- St. Germain: This is one of the most popular MAC lipsticks, so everybody probably knows about it. The only problem is people of darker complexions are scared to wear it. SN: Anyone can wear anything you have to know how to make it work for you. It's a cute powder pink color I like to wear it with a darker pink in the outer portion of my lips and this in the middle. The average price is $14.50.

10.  NARS Lipstick- Schiap: EVERYONE should own this lipstick. I hate when people like to play it safe, this is the perfect color to go outside of the box. I've never came across a lipstick that is more hot pink than this one, it is beautiful. The average price is $24.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment: I wanted to add this as an extra, because I feel everyone should know about it. This can be worn as a lip balm, but it is a lip treatment. My lips have never felt so soft and I will never go back to using any other lip balms. It's very sheer and comes in different tints and other forms. The average price is $22.

Easy Lip Scrub
2 teaspoons Sugar
1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Directions: Mix sugar and olive oil in a small container and rub on lips for five minutes. Rinse Scrub with lukewarm water. Apply a lip balm or lip treatment (I use Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment from Sephora...A-freaking-MAZING!). And VOILA your lips are soooo soft!

Favorite Fragrances!

Hi everyone I know that this blog is mostly about makeup, but I want to cover all aspects of beauty and I feel perfume is beauty. Before I get into this let me explain the difference between perfume  eau de parfum and eau de toilette (this determines the intensity and staying power of your perfume). Perfume contains 15-40% perfume concentrate, so it makes it very strong and can be sometimes overpowering. Eau de parfum is the most popular of the three and the second most strongest, it contains 7-15% perfume concentrate. Eau de toilette is the least strongest and it contains about 1-6% perfume concentrate.

*These are listed in no specific order

1. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de parfum: This is one of my favorite scents to wear when I want to feel untouchable. LOL!  This is a very warm scent, yet it still has a nice youthful scent.

2. Pink Sugar Eau de toilette by Aquolina: This is the PERFECT girly scent, it's interesting enough that teenage girls could wear it, but feminine enough that adults can wear it too. It has a very sweet scent, some people don't like scents like this but I always get compliments when wearing this fragrance.

3. Marc Jacobs Lola Eau de parfum: I have to admit I hate fragrances that are overly floral, but I love this! I kept seeing this every time I would walk in a mall, so after a while I just decided to try it. This fragrance is floral, but it kinda has a warm scent to it too. It's the perfect springtime fragrance.

4. Jessica Simpson Fancy Eau de parfum: Honestly, I have a connection to this perfume. Weird? Right? I kept smelling this perfume by walking past people, so one day I decided to ask someone and this is what it was. I love this it's just pure SEXY!  This is a warm scent, but it can be worn year round.

5. Fendi Fan Di Fendi Eau de parfum: I got into this perfume in the last two years and it's recently one of my favorites. I guess as I matured I wanted something that smelled professional, and this is the best professional scent. It can be overpowering; but with only two or three sprays it lasts all day. I really don't know a way to describe the scent not other than professional or the perfect adult scent.

6. Angel by Thierry Mugler Eau de parfum: There are many remakes of this fragrance; but this original beats them all. For some reason this scent makes me think of the beach, but I have no clue why I have this connection. LOL! It's light and fresh, yet very potent.

7. Herve Leger by Herve Leger Eau de parfum: This was my first fragrance that I ever had and I still used it. This is a great scent that can be used at special occasions and evening events. There is no scent that can compare to this it's just feminine and classy.

8. Dior Miss Dior Cherie Eau de parfum: I have been using this fragrance for a while and it is my go to scent. I could say it's my signature scent, but I change sometimes when I want to be different. This fragrance is chic, feminine, cute, and elegant.

9. Givenchy Play for Her Eau de parfum: The best way to describe this fragrance is when you walk in the room all eyes are on you or better yet all noses. LOL! This is a captivatingly beautiful scent. I think all women should own this fragrance, it makes you memorable. If you want to feel mature, yet girly this is perfect.

10. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Eau de toilette: Everybody knows about this scent, unless you've been hiding under a rock! LOL! This is the perfect light, fresh, out of the shower scent. For some reason when I wear this scent it makes me feel clean; the connection I get to this scent is like smelling laundry washing, it's just fresh and clean.

Favorite Foundations!

Intro: For my next few blogs I will be doing a list of all my favorite products!

In this blog I want to inform you all on some of my favorite foundations.

*These foundations are in no specific order!

1. Make Up For Ever HD Foundation: I can't stress enough how much I LOVE this foundation. If you're looking to get the beat face look, then will definitely do the job! This foundation comes in a wide variety of colors and is a medium to buildable full coverage. The average price range $42/ 1.01 oz.

2. MAC Full Coverage Foundation: In my opinion this was the best thing that MAC has ever created. I'm not a big fan of other MAC foundations, but this one is great. It's a cream foundation so it's automatically full coverage but can be brought down to medium with the use of a moisturizer. This product is NOT sold in regular MAC stores, but can be purchased by calling MAC or visiting a MAC Pro store. The average price range $50/ 1.0 oz.

3. Black Opal Stick Foundation: This product beats all drugstore foundations on coverage! I have found that this foundation gives a better look/coverage than some high in makeup. I'm not too familiar on many drugstore brand foundations, but this stuff has great at a great price. The average price range $10/ 1.0 oz.
*The colors fit people of  light tan skin-chocolate skin.

4. Make Up Forever Mat Velvet+ Foundation: If you're looking for a makeup that won't move or melt in the humid weather, this gives you those benefits. This makeup is very thick, but it helps when you need something to wear for long periods of time. A downside of this products is (if you don't know how to mix makeup) most skin colors have to mix other colors to get the perfect match. The average price range $36/ 1.01 oz.

5. Revlon PhotoReady/ ColorStay Foundation: These are two different foundations, but I feel as if they give the same look. This foundation has been compared to MAC Studio Fix; I'm not a fan of Studio Fix, but I like this foundation. It has a great medium to buildable full coverage, with an array of color choices, and lasts all day with a good setting powder. This is one of the two drugstore foundations that I've tried and love! The average price range $8/ 1.0 oz.

6. Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation: I feel that this foundation not only gives great coverage, but it seems to have benefits for your skin. This is one of the only liquid foundations I know of that automatically has full coverage. I have nothing better to say other than it's an amazing product. The average price range $36/ 1.0 oz.

7. Graftobian HD Creme Foundation Palette: If you are a freelance make-up artist then this palette is a MUST. You often hear a little goes a long way, but with this foundation it doesn't even take a dime size amount to cover your face. This is mostly used as a stage makeup so it has a great full coverage with great staying power. This palette contains 18 shades, and there are 3 different palettes for warm, neutral, and cool undertones. The average price range $70/ palette.

8. Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick: I would say that this is comparable to the Black Opal foundation stick, but there is one big difference! TRANSFER! If you will be hugging people all day (church, weddings, events) choose this foundation. The only difference in this foundation is that this does not transfer onto others and size; rather than that they have the same qualities. The average price range $42/ 0.32 oz.

9. Chanel Pro Lumiere Foundation: This foundation is discontinued, but if you are able to get your hands on it please take the opportunity.  I have to admit this was one of the best foundations i've ever worn; the color, coverage, look, everything was BEAUTI-freaking-FULL! You may can visit a Chanel counter and get lucky if they have extras or sales. The average price range was $59/ 1.0 oz.

10. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation: When you hear the word clay believe it (it's made with clay). This foundation was meant to be thick and give good coverage. I love this foundation you wouldn't think a thick foundation would feel good, but this is the only thick foundation that feels good. The only bad thing is this foundation only comes in 8 colors. The average price range $38/ 1.7 oz.

*All these foundations were matte or dewy finish.
*I was not endorsed by any of these companies to advertise product; this is my opinion only.

I hope this helped you all!
Until next time I wish you Love, Lipgloss, and Glitter! Muah!

Haters!

Hi everyone I want to discuss something that everyone seems to be talking about lately. Haters! I have no problem having haters, because I would want someone to hate me rather than stab me behind my back.  For some reason this is a subject that I have mixed feelings about. Something that I hear often is, "Oh if you don't have a hater you're not doing something right" or "Oh they're just hating on me because they want something I have". Is someone really hating on you or are they telling you something to benefit you?

Actual Haters!
Don't get me wrong even though I have mixed feelings about haters I do know that they exist. The road to success obviously comes with many haters, in this case theres nothing wrong with saying they want something you have. If you're working on improving your life then you shouldn't have the time to worry about haters. One thing I hate seeing is someone thats excelling letting a hater discourage them. If someones not contributing to your life then they're opinion is irrelevant. My advice to you is do you, if you feel you're doing something to better yourself do it. Don't pay any attention to someone if they're opinions speak louder than they're bank account or experience!

Constructive Criticism!
Constructive criticism is something that often get's mixed up with hating. Although I would think people would have the ability discern hating and constructive criticism, in most cases that doesn't happen. If someone is telling you something thats beneficial you should take that advice and find out ways for improvement. If you can't tell the difference I'll give you an example: I'm going to use Chris Brown (I won't go into detail, because thats whole other subject), think if someone says I don't like Chris Brown because he's lame (hating); on the other hand someone can say I feel Chris Brown needs to learn to act mature, because every week he ends up in a messy situation (constructive criticism). Everyone is not always hating you, sometimes they just have your best interest at heart.

The ones who say you can't or you won't are likely the ones who are scared you will- Me!

Until next time I wish you Love, Lipgloss, and Glitter! Muah!

Welcome To The Fabulous Mind of Me!

Hello everyone, I'm Chun J. Morris! I'm new to this blogging thing, but I thought it would be something fun & interesting. I'm a 21 year old college student majoring in Elementary Education/ Collaborative Teaching, and i'm also a freelance makeup artist. I know you are all saying what a weird combination (LOL), but I will explain my passion. My love for makeup started when I was only 3 years old; my aunt used to have lipsticks laying on her dresser and I had so much fun playing with it. Over the years through Youtube & other experiences I've become into all aspects of makeup. I don't have any formal training as of now, but I do plan on taking makeup classes to perfect my craft. My second passion is children, and this love comes from being apart of a big family. These two careers may seem like complete opposites, but they share the common bond of just making people feel good about themselves and thats what gives me great joy. Well enough about my life let's get to explaining the blog. You all can look forward to different topics from Makeup (Tips, Reviews, Hauls, Dupes, etc.), Celeb Gossip, Music, and random topics about life. I plan to do at least two blog post a week (starting next week) with no specific dates, but you can add me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/chundranea) and follow me on Twitter (https://twitter.com/OfficialChun) to find out when I planning my next post.

Until next time I wish you all Love, Lipgloss, and Glitter!
